Project Description and Statement of Public Benefit: The 2 Million Gallon elevated storage tank will directly benefit the residents of Glenn Heights, which is located within Texas Congressional District 6 (TX-06). This project is critical to ensuring a safe, reliable water supply for the community while also enhancing fire protection capabilities across the city.

Currently, the existing storage tank does not have sufficient capacity to support the city's rapid growth. Glenn Heights is experiencing significant residential and commercial development, and without this new infrastructure, the city's ability to provide adequate water service to both existing and future residents would be compromised.

This project will:

•  Enhance public health and safety by ensuring continuous access to clean, safe drinking water.

•  Improve fire protection capacity, reducing response challenges for emergency services.

•  Support economic growth and development by providing the necessary infrastructure for new businesses and residential communities.

Furthermore, this investment aligns with the broader regional and state priorities for resilient water infrastructure, ensuring that Glenn Heights remains a strong, growing, and sustainable community within TX-06.
