This week in Washington, the House:

• Passed the most conservative and transparent rules package in 30 years
• Passed a bill rescinding funds for the 87,000 new IRS agents
• Passed a bill prohibiting the Secretary of Energy from sending petroleum products from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to China
• Established a Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government
• Established the Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party

In our first week as the governing majority, House Republicans started fulfilling our commitment to the American people. Time for transparency and fiscal responsibility is long overdue, and we are here to deliver.
