On January 27th, Representative Jake Ellzey (TX-06) released the following statement after being selected to serve on the House Appropriations Subcommittees: Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies, Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Interior and Environment for the 118th Congress:

“It is an honor to be selected to serve on all three of these subcommittees.” said Ellzey, “Within these committees I will have the ability to impact six of the fifteen executive departments helping to reign in the excess spending that has been occurring in the federal government over the last two years. I look forward to serving with my fellow Committee members, to ensure that fiscal conservative and accountability are again the focus of the Federal Government.”
