Veterans Resource Fair

Congressman Ellzey is hosting a Veterans Resource Fair in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Veterans across the district will be able to connect with vital VA services and local resources. Opportunities will include enrolling in the VA system for health care and disability benefits, receiving health screenings, and accessing support for career services, mental health, and more.

Our office will also be available to assist with records and medal replacements, and to serve as a resource for VA updates. Local organizations will join us to provide additional support for veterans and their families.

VA services scheduled to participate include:

  • Vaccine clinic – blood pressure checks & vaccines

  • Eligibility – VA enrollment

  • Community Care – CCN information and resources

  • Whole Health – program information

  • NCA – Burial information and resources

  • Connect Care – Telehealth

  • MyHealtheVet – online medical record assistance

  • HR – VA recruitment

  • Advance Care Planning – POA, wills, and resources

  • Suicide Prevention – SAVE training and resources

  • Recreation Therapy – programs, VR, and resources

Local veteran resources include:

  • Veteran Service Officers

  • Local Veteran Organizations

The fair is family-friendly, and veterans are encouraged to bring their children. Local resources will also be available for veterans’ spouses and kids.
